At Cornerstone Community Kitchen, we believe good food should be safe food. Every week, we welcome individuals and families from different backgrounds, each with unique dietary needs. One of the most important ways we care for our community is by ensuring our meals are safe for those with food allergies.
Food allergies can be serious, and even a small amount of an allergen can trigger a reaction. That’s why our team is trained to prepare meals with care. We label ingredients, keep utensils separate when needed, and follow strict hygiene practices to prevent cross-contamination.
But keeping everyone safe is a shared responsibility. We encourage all our guests to let us know if they have any allergies or sensitivities—no matter how small. Whether it is nuts, dairy, gluten, shellfish, or any other allergen, telling our volunteers helps us prepare the right meal for you and avoid risks.
Your safety matters to us. By speaking up about your allergies, you help us create a welcoming kitchen where everyone can enjoy their meal with confidence and peace of mind.
Together, we can continue to make Cornerstone Community Kitchen a safe, warm, and nourishing space for all.
