Children Summer Club
Love summer, love children.
The summer months tend to be a period of heightened energy and liveliness. In recognition of this, we organize a summer club specifically designed for children during their school holiday break. We aim at providing enriching activities and engagement for children. This summer program offers a diverse array of offerings to promote learning and development in a fun, recreational setting. We facilitate creative outlets such as music and dance classes, allowing children to explore artistic expression. Furthermore, we promote physical activity and healthy social interaction by incorporating fun games and sports into the programming. In addition to recreational pursuits, the summer club curriculum places an emphasis on skill development by offering instructional sessions focused on hands-on crafts like sewing, beadwork, and other practical skills. The summer club serves as an excellent opportunity for children in Loughborough and surrounding areas to constructively spend their free time, discover new interests and skills, and foster friendships during the extended holiday period. All children are welcome to enroll and take part in this comprehensive summer program we provide for the local youth community.
We recognise that dealing with children is a sensitive role that requires adequate safeguarding processes and trained first aiders. Therefore, we ensure that volunteers in this service area are recruited in a safe and responsible manner, and first aiders undergo the necessary training. Once onboarded, all volunteers undergo regular DBS checks and are required to attend mandatory safeguarding training.
